Frequently Asked Questions?

Does waxing hurt?

Yes, waxing can be uncomfortable. Everyone has a different pain threshold, but most clients describe the sensation as a quick pinch when the wax is removed, with the discomfort subsiding almost immediately.

How long does my hair need to be?

Hair should ideally be 2–3 weeks post-shave. Allowing the hair to grow slightly longer helps the wax grip more effectively and results in a smoother finish.

Can I get waxed on my period?

Yes, you can still attend your appointment while on your period. We simply ask that you wear a tampon or menstrual cup during the treatment.

Please be aware that some clients may find waxing slightly more uncomfortable at this time due to hormonal sensitivity.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We recommend wearing comfortable, lightweight clothing, such as loose trousers or joggers, to ensure maximum comfort before and after your treatment.

How do I book an appointment?

Appointments can be booked via the Fresha booking link available on the website.

If your preferred date or time is unavailable, you’re welcome to get in touch directly or check back for cancellations.

What aftercare should I be doing?

Aftercare plays an important role in achieving the best waxing results. We recommend using a gentle exfoliator and moisturiser suitable for the intimate area 2–3 times per week.

The Ruff Stuff exfoliator is available to purchase at your appointment.

I’ve noticed regrowth a few days after my wax - is this normal?

Yes, this is completely normal, especially if you’re new to waxing. Hair grows in cycles, and results improve with consistency.

For best results:

Book regular appointments every 4 weeks

Follow the recommended aftercare

Avoid shaving between appointments

Most clients notice a significant reduction in regrowth after 5–6 waxing sessions.

Do you offer intimate waxing for men?

No, intimate waxing services are not currently offered for men. However, there are other local providers who do offer this service.
