Welcome to The Wax Room  - I’m Jodie, a mum of three and the founder of this warm, welcoming space dedicated to expert waxing and real confidence.

My journey in the beauty industry began over four years ago, starting humbly in a spare bedroom at home while balancing life with my young family and an unexpected pregnancy! As my passion grew and my client base flourished, I moved into a cosy summer house in the garden, where The Wax Room truly began to take shape. In the summer of 2024, I proudly opened the doors to our current home at The Base - a calm, comfortable space designed with your experience in mind.

Although I originally began offering lash treatments, I quickly discovered my true passion: intimate waxing and specialist waxing services. It’s where I found my confidence, my skill, and ultimately, my purpose within the industry. Many clients ask how I found my way into this line of work, and the honest answer is that it naturally fell into place. What started as something small became something I absolutely love and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

At The Wax Room, my goal is simple - to provide a warm, friendly environment where every client feels comfortable, cared for, and completely at ease. Whether you’re a regular waxer or taking your first step into intimate waxing, you’ll be welcomed with kindness and looked after with expertise.
